Handlebot!

Here's a 3D model that I've been tinkering with for a while, and finally managed to wrap up: some kind of steampunk-y post-apocalyptic survivor riding a half-scrapped army robot...

I had fun with this one - no normal mapping or anything, just a diffuse texture; the cel-shading look was achieved by taking the ambient occlusion lighting pass and putting it through the cutout filter in photoshop, then painting back into it by hand. Anyway, hope you like!

this is one of the best things i've seen in ages mya - absolutely amazing. Please do the decent thing and put it on polycount, cghub...etc. The world needs to see this!

P.s. especially like how much character youve got in the kids face

p.s. if you could pull off another one like this for dominance war then i think you'd be a contender for top spot no problem!
