Daily Speedpaints...

I had a great time at Headfirst; it was far from perfect, but I got to work with some really fun, talented guys on a project that was very interesting from a creative standpoint. We researched Georgian architecture and experimented with fusing it with Lovecraftian shapes and motifs, and spent a lot of time developing the look of the project as a whole - it was my first experience with actual production design.

So after the demise of Headfirst, I went to work at Free Radical Design, where I joined in with a daily speedpainting group:

Call of Cthulhu...

Here's some concept art/3d work from my time at Headfirst Productions, when I worked on a follow-up to the game Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth - it was called 'Tainted Legacy', and would have been a great game, i'm sure, if Headfirst hadn't gone belly-up. Seriously, it had tentacles, deep ones, giant fish women, these big crab things...

Did I mention the tentacles?
